Description

Crunchy and spicy, these Chili Garlic Almonds are a flavorful snack perfect for satisfying your cravings between meals.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups roasted almonds
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 teaspoons oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the dry spices: chili powder, garlic powder, coriander cumin powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the mixed dry spices.
  3. Fry the spices in the oil for about 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning, until the spices are fragrant.
  4. Add the roasted almonds to the pan and toss them in the spiced oil, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Continue to cook the almonds for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until they are heated through and well-coated with the spice mixture.
  6. Remove from heat and let the almonds cool before serving or storing.

Notes

Dry roast the almonds first for extra crunch. Store in an airtight container to keep them fresh. These almonds make a great addition to a festive gift hamper.
