- 1 cup (240 ml) of raw almonds
- 1 tsp of olive oil
- 1 1/2 tsp of cajun spices (preferably homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the raw almonds, olive oil, and 1 tsp of cajun spices. Toss until the almonds are evenly coated.
- Spread the almonds in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the almonds are golden brown and fragrant.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the remaining 1/2 tsp of cajun spices over the hot almonds. Toss to coat evenly.
- Allow to cool completely before serving or storing.
Notes
- Store the roasted almonds in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
- For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of cajun spices.
- These almonds make a great topping for salads or can be mixed with other nuts for a custom trail mix.
