Ingredients
Units
Scale
- 1 lb (450 g) parsnips, peeled and cut into "fries"
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (232 degrees Celsius). Line a baking pan with foil for easy cleanup.
- Place the peeled and cut parsnips on the prepared baking pan. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Toss the parsnips to coat them evenly in the oil. Spread them out on the pan so they have room to crisp up.
- Sprinkle the parsnips with onion powder, garlic powder, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the parsnips are golden brown and crispy on the edges. Flip them halfway through the baking time for even cooking.
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately as a delicious side dish or snack.
Notes
- For best results, ensure the parsnips are spread out on the baking sheet to allow them to crisp up.
- You can substitute fresh rosemary for dried if desired.
- These fries are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven but can be reheated in a hot oven to regain some crispiness.
