- 1 small head cabbage finely
- 1/4 small head red cabbage finely sliced
- 1/2 lb (225 g) chicken breast cooked shredded
- 2 packs / 3 oz (85 g) Nissan brand instant. Ramen (reserve flavor packet for other use)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) toasted sliced almonds
- 1 green onion thinly sliced
Dressing
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) salad Oil
- 6 tbsp (90 ml) vinegar
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- a few drops of sesame oil
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Combine all salad ingredients
- Pour over dressing.
- Toss lightly , cover and chill and serve.
Variations
- Add frozen peas.
- "Sapporo Ichiban" brand ramen noodles also give a good result
