- 8 oz (230 gm) ground turkey
- 1 medium carrot, shredded
- 1 large scallion, minced
- 1/4 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp chili garlic sauce
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) natural peanut butter
- Freshly ground salt & pepper, to taste
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, shredded carrot, minced scallion, sesame oil, chili garlic sauce, peanut butter, salt, pepper, and ground ginger. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the turkey patties.
- Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). The patties should be golden brown on the outside.
- Serve the burgers hot, with your choice of buns and toppings.
