Description

Enjoy the taste of fresh summer strawberries in this delightful Prosecco and vanilla sparkling cocktail, perfect for a sunny day at the beach.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups organic strawberries (sliced)
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 vanilla bean (split and seeds scraped)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 bottle Prosecco (chilled)

Instructions

  1. For the syrup: place the first four ingredients (strawberries, water, vanilla bean, and sugar) in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, then strain the mixture to remove solids.
  3. Let the syrup cool, then mix with lemon juice.
  4. To serve, pour 2 tablespoons of syrup into a glass and top with chilled Prosecco.
