Description
A winning flavor combination that can be made in minutes using frozen bananas and without dairy, too. Enjoy with fresh fruit and chopped nuts.

- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) almond butter
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract(optional)
For the toppings:
- Chopped hazelnuts
- whipped cream(optional)
- raspberries
Instructions
- Dice the ripe bananas,put them in a storage bag and freeze them from two hours to overnight if you want. You just want them really frozen. Take the bananas out of the freezer,and put them in a food processor,and press for couple of minutes until they are almost pulverized.
- Add the almond butter,press again,until it’s creamy. On the end,add the cocoa,the vanilla and the honey.Press for few seconds.
- Pour the ice cream in a air tight food container and let it in the freezer for maximum two hours. Voila! The ice cream is ready to be served!

- *You can put any kind of toppings you want.
- I,personally prefer those.
- They give great balance,between the sweetness of the bananas,the crunch of hazelnuts and the tartness of the raspberries! **You can also substitute the whipped cream with coconut cream.
- Freeze coconut milk overnight, open the can, disregard the liquid on top,or keep it for smoothies, whip it for a minute in a hand mixer and it’s ready! ***You can also freeze any kind of berries,and other fruits to make this ice cream.
