- 2 slices whole grain bread
- 2 tbsp strawberry jam
- 1/3 cups (89 ml) baby spinach
- 1/2 cups (118 ml) Fuji apple
- 1 oz (28 g) Chevre D’Argental French goat cheese
Instructions
- Spread jam over one side of both slices of bread.
- Add spinach and apple slices to one slice of bread. Add goat cheese.
- Top with the second slice of bread.
- Wrap the sandwich in parchment paper and cut it in half.
Notes
- For a sweeter sandwich, use a jam with a higher sugar content.
- To prevent the sandwich from getting soggy, assemble it just before serving.
- Substitute crumbled feta cheese for goat cheese if desired.
