Description

- 1 baguette, sliced
- 2-4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 can artichoke hearts, rinsed, drained, and sliced into halves or quarters if needed
- 2-3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1/4 pound ham, sliced thin
- 2 ounces Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Arrange the baguette slices on the prepared baking sheet. Rub both sides of each slice with olive oil.
- Bake the slices in the preheated oven until just toasted, about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the baguette slices cool slightly.
- Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on each toasted baguette slice.
- Top each slice with a piece of ham and a slice of artichoke heart.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top of each artichoke bite.
- Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Serve warm, paired with a crisp white wine like Pinot Grigio.
