Description
This old-fashioned egg salad is a simple and delicious classic, perfect for sandwiches or as a salad on its own.

- 6 hard boiled eggs
- 3-4 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp salt, adjust to taste
- Pinch ground black pepper, adjust to taste
Instructions
- Remove the shells from the boiled eggs.
- Place the eggs in a large bowl. Using either the back of a fork or a potato masher, push down to break up the eggs until you have coarse pieces or your desired texture.
- Add 3-4 tbsp of mayonnaise to the eggs and mix well until combined.
- Season with 1/2 tsp of salt and a pinch of ground black pepper, adjusting to taste.
- Mix everything thoroughly and serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator before serving.
