Description

Creamy matcha smoothie bowl topped with fresh fruit and hemp seeds. A vibrant and healthy breakfast or snack.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 medium frozen banana
  • 1 handful baby spinach
  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 cup (118 ml) coconut milk
  • 1/2 tbsp Nectevia or use (3 dates, maple syrup or agave nectar)
  • Banana
  • Strawberry
  • Blueberry
  • Toasted hemp seed

Instructions

  1. Blend everything into a fine puree.
  2. Transfer to a serving bowl.
  3. Add topping.
  4. Enjoy.

Notes

  • For a richer matcha flavor, use a higher quality ceremonial grade matcha powder.
  • If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more coconut milk until desired consistency is reached.
  • Store leftover smoothie base in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 days; add fresh toppings when ready to serve.
