Description

Rather than dried fruits or nuts, incorporate fresh or quick pickled fruit and vegetables to make a refreshing cheese board.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small garlic clove (minced)
  • Pinch of coarse salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh oregano
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Using the back of a large knife, or a mortar and pestle, smash the garlic and salt together until they form a loose paste. Place the garlic paste in a small bowl with the lemon juice and herbs and stir to combine. Whisk in the olive oil, a little bit at a time, until combined. Finish with black pepper. Serve alongside vegetables or a loaf of crusty bread!
