- 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (200 g) sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups (315 g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add the sugar and beat until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Use cookie cutters to cut out desired shapes and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
