Description

Tart cranberries meet fragrant rosemary in this festive jam, perfect for holiday charcuterie boards or a simple toast topping.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lbs (454 g) fresh cranberries
  • 1 cups (237 ml) fine white sugar
  • 1 tbs lemon juice
  • 1 cups (237 ml) water
  • 1 large apple
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a large pot.
  2. Cook on high heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Once cranberries begin to pop, reduce heat to medium-low.
  4. Continue to cook until the jam thickens and becomes syrupy, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes.
  5. If desired, transfer to a blender and puree until smooth.
  6. Let cool completely.
  7. Transfer to a medium jar and refrigerate for up to 1 month.

Notes

  • For a smoother jam, remove the rosemary sprigs before blending.
  • To reduce sweetness, use a sugar substitute like agave nectar, adjusting to your desired sweetness level.
  • Store jam in sterilized jars for longer shelf life; ensure a good seal to prevent spoilage.
