Description

These Goat Cheese and Walnut Covered Grapes are a simple yet elegant appetizer, combining creamy cheese and crunchy nuts with juicy grapes.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 oz (55 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 oz (55 g) goat cheese, room temperature
  • A small bunch of green or red grapes
  • 2 oz (55 g) package chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese and goat cheese. Use a hand mixer for ease. If the mixture is too stiff, add a splash of milk or a tbsp or two of Greek yogurt to reach a spreadable consistency.
  2. Take each grape and coat it evenly with the cheese mixture. Ensure the grape is fully covered.
  3. Roll the cheese-coated grapes in the chopped walnuts, pressing gently to adhere the nuts to the cheese.
  4. Place the walnut-covered grapes on a plate and refrigerate for at least 5 minutes to allow the cheese to firm up slightly before serving.

Notes

  • If you’re not a fan of goat cheese, mascarpone or plain cream cheese can be used as substitutes.
  • These are best served chilled.
  • You can prepare them a few hours in advance and store them in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
