- 1 package (1 package) Puff Pastry Sheets
- 1 lbs (300 g) minced pork
- 1 onion (1 onion) onion
- 1 tablespoon (1 tablespoon) fish sauce
- 3 tablespoon (3 tablespoon) rice wine
- 1/2 teaspoon (1/2 teaspoon) five spice powder
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) water
- 2 tablespoon (2 tablespoon) cornflour
- 1/2 cup (118 ml) sesame seeds
- 2 egg yolks (2 egg yolks) egg yolk
- 1/2 cup (118 ml) spring onion
Instructions
- Mix pork, onion, spring onion, five spice powder, fish sauce, rice wine, corn flour and water in a bowl. Stir until all ingredients are combined.
- Cut the pastry sheet into 3-inch squares.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of the pork mixture in the middle of each square.
- Fold the squares over the filling to form triangles.
- Brush with a little egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Set the oven to 200°F (93°C) and bake for 20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and crispy.
Notes
- For easier folding, slightly chill the puff pastry before assembling the triangles.
- To prevent soggy pastry, ensure the pork mixture is well-drained before filling.
- Leftover triangles can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or frozen for up to 1 month.
