A silky smooth Earl Grey Tea Panna Cotta, perfect for cooling down on a hot day. Infused with the rich flavors of Earl Grey tea, this dessert is both refreshing and elegant.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 8 Earl Grey tea bags, take out the tea leaves from bags
  • 250ml (8.45 fluid ounces) hot water
  • 1 tbsp gelatin, soak with 1 tbsp water
  • 7.5 tbsp light brown sugar
  • 350ml (11.8 fluid ounces) fresh milk

Instructions

  1. Place Earl Grey tea leaves in a small pot. Pour in the hot water and cover with a lid. Leave to infuse for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the light brown sugar to the tea infusion, stir well, and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Once boiling, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  4. In a separate bowl, soak the gelatin with 1 tablespoon of water until it blooms.
  5. Warm the fresh milk in a saucepan over low heat, then add the bloomed gelatin, stirring until completely dissolved.
  6. Combine the milk mixture with the tea infusion, stirring until smooth.
  7. Pour the mixture into serving glasses or molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  8. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder if desired.
