- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour (King Arthur)
- 1/4 cup of whole wheat flour (King Arthur)
- 1/3 cup of dark cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp of baking powder
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 3 oz of dark chocolate, chopped
- 3 tbsp of butter
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of Chobani Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- Zest of 1 orange
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line an 8-inch springform pan with parchment paper on the bottom and spray the entire interior with baking spray. Set aside.
- In a stand mixer bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, dark cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix on low speed until well combined.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate and butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth. Let it cool slightly.
- Add the melted chocolate mixture to the dry ingredients in the stand mixer bowl. Mix on low speed until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, brown sugar, Chobani Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and eggs until smooth. Stir in the orange zest.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the chocolate-flour mixture, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
Notes
Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For a more intense orange flavor, add a teaspoon of orange extract. These brownies can be frozen for up to 3 months; thaw at room temperature before serving.
