Description

A refreshing sorbet with a green tea base, infused with mint, lime, and cucumber for a cool summer treat.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups green tea
  • 1/4 cup dehydrated cane juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh apple mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Brew the green tea and let it cool to room temperature.
  2. In a blender, combine the cooled green tea, dehydrated cane juice, lime juice, cucumber, and mint leaves.
  3. Blend until smooth and well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  5. Transfer the sorbet to a container and freeze for at least 5 hours before serving.

Notes

The prep time includes 4 hours to chill your tea mixture, for best results though prepare the day ahead.

The cook time includes both simmering of your mixture and ice cream churn time.

If you are not able to find the cucumber mojito tea, you can come close to the flavors by using a green ice tea and increasing the amounts of cucumber, mint and lime zest.
