Description

Flaky puff pastry, creamy brie, and tart cranberry sauce combine in these elegant little bites. Perfect for holiday parties or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 sheet (1 sheet) frozen puff pastry
  • 1/2 pound (227 g) brie cheese
  • 1 cup (237 ml) cranberry sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Cut a puff pastry sheet into 12 equal squares (about 3×3 inches).
  3. Press the pastry squares into mini muffin tins.
  4. Cube the brie cheese and place one piece in each pastry square.
  5. Bake at 400°F (204°C) for 10-12 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown.
  6. Let cool for a couple of minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  7. Add ½ teaspoon of cranberry sauce to each pastry.
  8. Top with thyme and serve warm.

Notes

  • For easier cutting, let the puff pastry thaw slightly before cutting into squares.
  • If your cranberry sauce is very thick, thin it with a teaspoon of orange juice or water before serving.
  • Store leftover bites in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days; they’re best served warm.
