- 1 cups (237 ml) whipping cream
- 14 oz (400 g) fresh strawberries
- 1/3 cups (65 g) sugar
Instructions
- Whip the whipping cream until very firm.
- Puree the strawberries (save 4 for garnish) with sugar.
- Pour some strawberry puree into four serving glasses.
- Add the remaining strawberry puree to the whipped cream and fold gently until combined.
- Fill the glasses with the strawberry mousse.
- Garnish with halved strawberries.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to one day.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use high-quality, ripe strawberries.
- If you don’t have whipping cream, you can substitute heavy cream, but the mousse will be slightly less light.
- To prevent the mousse from becoming watery, make sure your strawberries are completely drained before pureeing.
