- 2 apples, washed and dried
- 1 cup (180g) white chocolate chips
- 5 Oreo cookies, crushed
- Lollipop sticks, optional
Instructions
- Insert lollipop sticks into the stem side of the apples if desired.
- Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth and fully melted.
- Dip each apple into the melted white chocolate, turning to coat evenly.
- Immediately roll the chocolate-coated apples in the crushed Oreo cookies, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the apples on a sheet of waxed paper and allow the chocolate to harden, which should take just a few minutes.
- For an extra treat, spread any leftover melted white chocolate on waxed paper, sprinkle with remaining crushed Oreo cookies, and let it harden to create cookies & cream white chocolate bark.
Notes
Use fresh, firm apples for the best results. If you don’t have a double boiler, melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between. Store any leftover chocolate bark in an airtight container. These apples are best enjoyed the same day they are made.
