- ½ of a large zucchini (sliced quartered then sliced into chucks to blend easily)
- ? cup of frozen cherries (pitted)
- 1 scoop of your favorite vegan protein powder (I used Vega Sport chocolate)

- 1 – 2 tsp of your favorite nut butter
- ¼ cup of crushed ice
Toppings are optional:
- Hemp hearts
- Pepitas
- Granola

Instructions
- Add the non-dairy milk to the blender.
- Add the sliced and quartered zucchini.

- Add the vegan protein powder.
- Blend on the smoothie setting or the highest setting for about 45 seconds to 1 minute, or until completely smooth and creamy.
- Pour into a large cup and top with cacao nibs for added crunch.
Notes
Zucchini adds creaminess without altering the flavor and provides anti-inflammatory benefits. This smoothie is ideal for post-workout recovery due to its protein content. For a kid-friendly version, split into two smaller servings.
