Description

  • 1 block of firm or extra firm tofu, pressed
  • 1/4 cup of Frank’s Red Hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of vegan butter
  • Olive oil, for cooking

Instructions

  2. Once the tofu is pressed, cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
  4. Add the tofu cubes to the pan and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown on all sides.
  5. In a small saucepan, melt the vegan butter over low heat. Once melted, add the Frank’s Red Hot sauce and stir to combine.
  6. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the cooked tofu cubes in the pan. Toss the tofu in the sauce to ensure each piece is well-coated.
  7. Continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tofu is heated through and the sauce is slightly thickened.
