Description

A refreshing and aromatic sorbet made with fresh blackberries and a hint of aniseed, perfect for a summer treat.


Ingredients

  • 200 grams sugar
  • 275 millilitres hot water
  • 5 teaspoons aniseed
  • 400 grams fresh blackberries - washed

Instructions

  1. Combine the sugar and hot water in a saucepan and stir until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add the aniseed and let it infuse for about 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the mixture to remove the aniseed.
  4. Blend the blackberries until smooth, then strain to remove seeds.
  5. Mix the blackberry puree with the aniseed syrup.
  6. Churn the mixture in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  7. Freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
