Description

Tender chicken thighs are browned then baked in a sweet and savory glaze for an incredibly easy weeknight meal. The simple sauce of honey, soy, and garlic creates a perfect sticky coating.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 8 to 12 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) soy sauce
  • 6 tablespoons (89ml) honey
  • 6 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup (118ml) vegetable or chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In an oven-safe pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then place it in the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes or until browned.
  3. Meanwhile, whisk together the sauce ingredients (vegetable oil, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and vegetable or chicken broth).
  4. Flip the chicken and pour the sauce evenly over all pieces.
  5. Put the pan in the center of the oven to cook for 30-40 minutes, depending on the cuts of chicken used.
