Description

Creamy avocado meets tangy mustard in this simple dip. Perfect with crudités, crackers, or crusty bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tbsp Maille Old Style mustard
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • A pinch of cayenne
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • A squeeze of lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) tahini

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust consistency and salt to taste.
  3. Serve on cheese, fresh vegetables, Maille Cornichons, and crackers/baguette.

Notes

  • For a smoother dip, remove the avocado pits and peel the avocados before adding them to the food processor.
  • If the dip is too thick, add a teaspoon of water at a time until desired consistency is reached.
  • Store leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Add a little lemon juice before storing to prevent browning.
