Revamp the ultimate breakfast burger to be glazed with sweet wild blueberry preserves. Let’s brunch!


Ingredients

Scale

For the glaze:

  • 1/2 cup Bonne Maman Wild Blueberry Preserves (the good stuff)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (the real stuff)

For the burgers:

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (the real stuff)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground sage
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 English muffins (split)
  • 2 slices brie cheese
  • 4 slices bacon (cooked and cut in half)

Instructions

For the glaze:

  1. Mix the Bonne Maman Wild Blueberry Preserves and maple syrup together and set aside.

For the burgers:

  1. Mix the pork, salt, pepper, maple syrup, and sage together. Divide mixture in half and form into two patties. Grill each patty over medium heat 8-10 minutes flipping half way through cooking. Once done set heat to low. Brush the wild blueberry glaze over the burgers top with brie and cover for 2 minutes until cheese is melted.
  2. Toast your muffins and Cook the eggs to over easy.
  3. Assemble the burgers by placing the half the bacon on the bottom of each muffin. Add the burger, then the cooked egg top and enjoy!

  • Well, I’m a bit surprised that I’m your first commenter on this post, since this breakfast burger looks oh, sooo lish! I could definitely eat this for lunch or dinner too!
