- 1 lb 99% lean ground turkey meat
- Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 medium red onion (chopped)
- 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp sun-dried tomato pesto (plus more for toppings)
- 1/2 cup goat cheese
- 1 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Spinach (for toppings)
- Sesame seed buns
Instructions
- Coat the skillet with the olive oil on medium heat
- Combine all ingredients into a mixing bowl and hand-knead until all is evenly mixed
- Roll mixture into a palm-sized ball and then flatten out into a patty
- Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side (or until evenly browned)
- Toast buns and spread a tsp amount of sun-dried tomato pesto on top bun
- Top with spinach and enjoy!
