Ingredients

  • 1 lb 99% lean ground turkey meat
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 medium red onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp sun-dried tomato pesto (plus more for toppings)
  • 1/2 cup goat cheese
  • 1 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Spinach (for toppings)
  • Sesame seed buns

Instructions

  1. Coat the skillet with the olive oil on medium heat
  2. Combine all ingredients into a mixing bowl and hand-knead until all is evenly mixed
  3. Roll mixture into a palm-sized ball and then flatten out into a patty
  4. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side (or until evenly browned)
  5. Toast buns and spread a tsp amount of sun-dried tomato pesto on top bun
  6. Top with spinach and enjoy!
