Avocado is a great fruit to have as a smoothie. It blends well and provides a smooth, buttery consistency. Combined with raw cacao it makes for a great start to the day.
Today I made this Healthy Chocolate Avocado Smoothie with Almond Milk. Yum, yum, yum! When I was a kid I used to love homemade chocolate milk shakes. I remember making milk shakes after school with vanilla ice cream, milk, and LOTS of chocolate syrup (as in half of the glass contained chocolate syrup). It was super good, but oh my, if I tried drinking that concoction now I would probably be doubled over from a stomach ache for days.
So with this Chocolate Avocado Smoothie, I’ve combined my love for chocolate and my love for creating a healthy smoothie to go with that craving.
This is the first time I’ve used an Avocado in a smoothie. I’ve heard of people doing this and have always wanted to try it.
I LOVE Avocados, as in I eat like one a day!
Avocados have almost 20 nutrients and minerals in them, which makes them some sort of a super food. It’s a good healthy fat to have in your diet.
I also included a Video Recipe for this as well. If you like this video, Please Subscribe to my YouTube Chanel! That way you get updated every time I post a new video, which is currently about once a week.
