Description

Grab a handful of this granola or top your yogurt with it for a healthy, nutrient-loaded snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups (322g) old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup (80g) All-bran
  • 1 cup (125g) wheat germ
  • 1/4 cup (40g) flax seeds
  • 1/4 cup (30g) roasted pumpkin seeds
  • 3/4 cup (90g) chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup (50g) brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (87g) maple syrup
  • 1 cup (180g) pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 tsp (1g) cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp (0,6g) ginger
  • 1/8 tsp (0,2g) nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Toss all of the ingredients together.
  2. Spread them onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  3. Bake the granola at 300 degrees for 30 minutes or until the granola is golden brown, stirring it every 5 minutes or so to ensure that it doesn’t burn and/or stick to the pan.
  4. Stir it when you remove it from the oven and then let it cool on the pan.
  5. Store it in a sealed container.
