Description
Bhortas are the simplest form of comfort food in Bangladesh. It’s basically anything good mashed together and served with rice.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2–3 medium size potatoes
- 2 tbsp mustard oil
- 4–5 garlic cloves
- 2–3 red chilies
- 1/4 onion, thinly sliced
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Roast garlic and chili on stove or in oven
- Boil potatoes until soft
- Peel potatoes and mash smoothly
- Mash garlic, chili and salt together, add onion
- Add mashed potatoes
- Add oil and mix well
