Description

This smoothie bowl combines juicy fruits with peanut butter, creating a flavor reminiscent of a classic PB&J sandwich, perfect for a refreshing breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup milk of your choice
  • 3/4 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries or blackberries
  • 2 Tbsp. all-natural peanut butter
  • Tiny pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. honey (omit for paleo/whole 30)
  • Additional fresh fruit for topping (optional)
  • Granola for topping (optional)
  • Chia seeds for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the milk, frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries or blackberries, peanut butter, salt, and honey to a blender.
  2. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the smoothie into a bowl.
  4. Top with additional fresh fruit, granola, and chia seeds as desired.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy your PB&J inspired smoothie bowl.

Notes

For a paleo or Whole 30 version, omit the honey and choose a compliant milk. Use fresh seasonal fruits for topping to enhance the flavor and texture. This smoothie bowl is naturally gluten-free. Store any leftover smoothie in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, but it’s best enjoyed fresh.
