Mountains and Food: Favorite Dining Events in Colorado Happening Now

There are few things better than taking in the snowcapped Rocky Mountains by moonlight. Check out these two favorite moonlit mountain dining events happening now in Colorado.

Moonlight Snowshoe Dinners
Not too far from Denver, head to the Frisco Nordic Center for a nighttime adventure on snowshoes! Taking place each month this winter, you will enjoy a lovely snowshoe walk complete with drinks while taking in the exceptional moonlit views of the surrounding peaks. Afterwards, enjoy a great dinner at the Nordic Center following your trek. Executive Chef David Welch, who has been named Zagat’s #1 chef in Colorado three times, cooks up outstanding menus for each of the evenings. You’re in for a treat!

Moonlight Dine + Ski
Experience the slopes of Copper Mountain after dark with Moonlight Dine + Ski, offered each month this winter. Enjoy alpenglow views and a gourmet meal! Exclusive to dining guests, three of four Moonlight Dine + Ski events begin with one hour of private skiing, followed by live acoustic music, drinks and dinner. Chef David Taladay will be cooking all of the dinners, with fun, themed menus. We are eyeing the Mexican-inspired menu, but Chef David also has a cozy Italian menu in the works. After your meal, take back to the snow and enjoy a final corduroy lap down to Center Village under the light of the moon. This is how you want to experience the Rocky Mountains after hours.
