Kentucky Bourbon Coffee Cocktail

Ingredients
  • 1 Java House Cold Brew dual-use pods, I used Sumatran
  • 8 ounces cold water
  • 1 ounce Kentucky Bourbon
  • 1 ounce Kahlua liquor, optional
  • 1 cup ice
  • 2 ounces cream
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 - 3 teaspoons simple syrup or to taste, optional
Instructions
  1. In a measuring cup or 2 cup container, mix together the coffee liquid pod, cold water, bourbon, and Kahlua, set aside.
  2. In a small bowl or measuring cup, mix together the cream, vanilla, and simple syrup, set aside.
  3. In 2 glasses, add ½ cup of ice into each glass, then divide the coffee mixture between them, then divide the sweetened cream between the glasses, and serve.
Notes
If you prefer, you can substitute the cream, vanilla, and simple syrup for your favorite vanilla creamer.
