Gin's a crazy food romantic who's head over heels for…
Make your melon sippable with this cool cantaloupe and orange smoothie that only needs three ingredients to be a quick morning drink.
I’ve never been on a fruit kick quite like this one. I’m even getting into fruits that I’m not typically a big fan of, like cantaloupe. I usually go for more sharp flavors, but I’m learning to appreciate mellowness in all areas of life. Including fruit.
Cantaloupe has such a mellow flavor. It’s calm, cool and collected. That’s a good note to start the day on. No matter what’s going on, cantaloupe’s just chillin.
I had this cantaloupe smoothie for breakfast the other day, with an orange on the side. I made it by freezing the fruit and then blending it, my favorite smoothie method at the moment. I wanted a little flavor in there to compliment the cantaloupe but not overpower it, so I tossed in some orange…I loves my oranges.
Cantaloupe’s a great source of potassium and B vitamins, which probably had a lot to do with me feeling so good.
