- 1/2 cups (118 ml) dijon mustard
- 1/2 cups (118 ml) honey
- 8 chicken thighs
- kosher salt
- black pepper
- garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
- Stir together the mustard and honey in a small bowl until evenly combined; set aside.
- Arrange the chicken thighs in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Bake the chicken in the oven for 25 minutes, then remove and brush with half of the honey mustard sauce. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the oven, brush with the remaining honey mustard sauce, and bake for a final 5 minutes.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use a high-quality Dijon mustard.
- To prevent burning, reduce oven temperature to 425°F if your chicken browns too quickly.
