Places We Love – Restaurant Olsen: Vikings At Heart

Restaurant Olsen brings Scandinavian cuisine to Madrid.
By Margaux Alexandria Cintrano

Restaurant Olsen, located a few metres from the Westin Palace Hotel in the Madrid Capital, on Calle del Prado 15, transports its guests to the beauty and mystery of the Northern Swedish countryside dressed in white.

In this neighborhood, Barrio de Las Letras, it’s a small intimate restaurant that serves fresh herrings in chive cream and gorgeous smoked Norwegian salmon. They serve their Scandinavian specialties with delightful Vodka tastings.  The decor is all the wintery beauty of the white and pale pale cream palette merged with contemporary Danish design. The subtle Nordic silvery lights of the season, are present 365 days in Olsen´s.

Highly recommended!
