  • The Turtle Donuts sound fantastic to me. Since I don’t have a Donut Pan, I was thinking I could make “Turtle Bars” ie: Maple Bars or a cake. Any suggestions about baking times? Bars would be a little larger, maybe 1/3rd more time? Cake, maybe same as baking a regular cake in the same size pan?

    • Hi Laurie, I would start with the same time as listed with the donut recipe and then test with a toothpick to see if the cake/bars are done. They may need 5-10 more minutes. Happy baking!
